A powerful antidote to the stresses of modern day life, yoga can develop a fit and supple body through regular practice of postures or poses (asanas). Yoga helps tone the muscles, stimulate the circulation and improve overall health. Postures and techniques learnt will help relaxation, breath control and you will find they have the power to calm the mind, increase your concentration and give you the ability to cope with stress and tension.
Yoga classes at Blackpool Physiotherapy clinic are taught by Sarah Fox, who is a proud graduate of the Yoga Diploma Teacher training in Cork City (YTTC) and is a certified Yoga Nidra Teacher. The Yoga exercises and classes are graded according to fitness levels and ability. Our Yoga Classes accommodate people who have injuries or health problems but want to improve the way their body performs. Classes are also taylored to suit fitness/sporting individuals to improve joint range and flexibility in functional positions. Our Yoga Classes focus on precise movements and usually include flexibility postures (asanas), breathing practices (pranayama) and relaxation.
